For me, there are many more factors that go into a balanced life than academics and extra-curriculurs. Your life should not be able to be put on a one-page resume.
Here are some of the goals I have for myself to become a well-balanced adult:
Body:
- Run, run, and run.
- Be health-conciouss with food
- Eat ice cream less than you think you should
Mind:
- Run to de-stress
- Take study breaks productively: ten minutes for every hour of studying
- Call family and friends for study breaks
Soul:
- Read devotional every morning
- Find time every night to relfect on the day...a lot happens
