In the fall of my senior year, I convinced my friend Madi to run the Denver Rock & Roll Marathon.

 

Here is our infamous selfie series taken at every mile. As you will see, the level of our excitement deteriorated predicatably.

In the fall of 2013, I convinced my friend Madi to run a half marathon with me. We ran in the Denver Rock & Roll Marathon Series.

 

Here, I present, some pictures from our infamous selfie series taken every mile. As you will see, the level of our excitement deteriorated quite predicatably.

For me, there are many more factors that go into a balanced life than academics and extra-curriculurs. Your life should not be able to be put on a one-page resume.

Here are some of the goals I have for myself to become a well-balanced adult:

 

Body:

  • Run, run, and run.
  • Be health-conciouss with food
  • Eat ice cream less than you think you should

Mind:

  • Run to de-stress
  • Take study breaks productively: ten minutes for every hour of studying
  • Call family and friends for study breaks

Soul:

  • Read devotional every morning
  • Find time every night to relfect on the day...a lot happens
