LeaderKids mentors meet once a month with a group of LeaderKids 8th graders at locations throughout the City of Fort Worth. The first meeting takes place here on TCU’s campus on Tuesday, October 29. During the meetings, the goal is to (a) develop leadership potential; (b) to communicate positive and lasting values; (c) encourage their ability to accomplish their goals. Mentors will be assigned 2-4 mentees and will be with them throughout the entire program, which concludes in the spring. We also ask that you keep in touch with them each month through e-mails or phone calls.

Job Description:

- Attend a mentor training on Thursday, October 10.

- Attend at least one hour of each LeaderKidsmeeting every month wearing the  

   LeaderKids Mentor shirt (December and May if available).

- Encourage mentees' ability to accomplish their goals.

- Work with an assigned group of 2-4 mentees throughout the program.

- Keep in touch with mentees each month through emails or phone calls.
