Hello! My name is Katelyn Jennings and I am a  Marketing  major at Texas Christian University. This is my ePortfolio tracking my experince through SXSW Interactive 2015.  SXSW Interactive is an annual conference that highlights, helps start-up, and celebrates technology and what it does for the world around us.  I am focusing on the theme of Sports. If you asked anyone who knows me they will tell you the one thing that I am most passionate about is sports.  Sports have always been a part of my life whether I was the athlete, the coach, the businesswoman, or even the fan.  Even though an injury my senior year of high school caused me not to play sports any further, I did not let that stop my drive to make a career out of what I love most.  I turned my passion from the athlete to the businesswoman. I do some work with TCU Athletics Marketing on a men's basketball committee called the Purple Haze. I sit on the executive board and am one of the founding members of this awesome organization! Through SXSW I sought out information on the future I had chosen for myself.  Networking with some of the greatest names in the industry, learning new things from their experiences, and hearing about where the futrue of sports is going made me realize that my future in the industry only gets brighter and I cannot wait to get started!
