Hi everyone! My name is Katie Buckley I'm currently ending my junior year at Texas Christian University. I'm from Denver, CO and studying special education. After graduation I hope to continue at TCU to receive my masters in special education as well as a behavioral thereapist certification and then teach in a self contained life skills classroom for high school students or adults in transtition.

I am so excited for this journey to South Africa to gain a whole new perspective on a culture so different from my own. I am also so excited to learn more about the conservation of different species and to work in a township alongside my classmates. I can't wait to share this adventure with everyone!
