Hi! My name is Lena Wurth.  I am an Early Childhood Education major, specializing in Special Education, at Texas Christian University. I am also a 4:1 candidate and plan on pursuing a MEd in Special Education. I am originally from Southlake, Texas but currently live in Fort Worth, Texas. 

I have always had a love for learning. From devoring books from a young age, to spending hours researching topics just because, and now studying special education, that love has never gone away. After working in elementary school classrooms in high school, I found a love for helping others learn as well. I have volunteered to tutor after school at a non-profit called Whatever It Takes. I have also worked Starpoint School as a Homework Club Supervisor. Getting to share what I am passionate about with students is such an amazing opportunity. I am beyond excited to pursue a career in education.
