Bethany Pierce

Bethany is a junior Biology major with Spanish and Chemistry minors on the pre-health track from College Station, Texas.

She is involved in multiple organizations on and off campus. She is a member of the John V. Roach Honors College, Women In Science and Engineering, the pre-health society Alpha Epsilon Delta, the service fraternity Alpha Phi Omega, and TCU's Chemistry Club. She also serves as the Co-Vice President of TCU's Spanish Club, La Mesa Hispanica. She volunteers each week at Mary Louis Phillips Elementary through the Read2Win program and throughout the semester at different events with APO.

In addition to working for TCU's FrogFolio program, she serves as the official photographer for the Crew. She has also just begun working on research in Dr. Jeffries lab, where she is learning about environmental toxicology and preparing for her Senior Honors Thesis. In her free time, which is actually just whenever she feels like procrastinating, Bethany likes to mindlessly surf the internet, namely Pinterest and YouTube. She also enjoys eating off campus, playing video games (badly) with her roommates, and going to TCU soccer and football games (Go Frogs!).

After TCU, Bethany hopes to enter medical school and eventually become a doctor, but she also wants to spend a few years abroad teaching or working.
