Great ePortfolio Design

A good ePortfolio needs solid content. A great ePortfolio will have solid content, and present it in an organized, stylish way. Our 2016 Showcase Best Overall winner April Tran does just that with her FrogFolio, which is both interesting to read and beautiful to look at. She has a subtle color scheme that she carries through her ePortfolio, and these visuals add to, rather than distract from the information she is presenting. The final product is clean, pretty, and helps reflect April's personality visually.

Making your FrogFolio visually attractive and inviting can help you draw readers in and encourage them to explore the different sections. For design inspiration, visit Brooke's FrogFolio! She does a wonderful job of incorporating pictures throughout her FrogFolio, she has done some coding through her settings to change her FrogFolio's appearance, and she created a clever About Me section using the letters of her name.

One of the best ways to make your FrogFolio design stand out is to pick a theme and stick to it throughout your ePortfolio. Emily chose a basic design scheme for her FrogFolio, focusing on pink and shades of gray and alternating between the fonts Georgia and Verdana, and carried those colors and fonts through every page. The end result is a stylish and cohesive way of presenting the content of her FrogFolio.
