Not sure what to include in your FrogFolio? Need help making your content great?

Figuring out how to add content to your FrogFolio can be intimidating, but we have lots of useful tips, tricks, and advice to help you out. We'll cover the basic sections of the template, but don't be afraid to branch out and add your own unique sections to your FrogFolio!

Home/About Me:

This section serves as the home page for your FrogFolio, so you'll want to introduce yourself to your readers. It can be hard coming up with things to write about yourself, so you can refer to this blog post for ideas, tips, and prompts to start you off.

Personal Learning Goals:

The Personal Learning Goals section is very specific to you. It can be what you hope to achieve this semester in class, or goals that you hope to reach by graduation. Either way, it's important to know how to set quality goals for yourself, so use this website to make your goals SMART. SMART goals are Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-Framed objectives that you create for yourself, and they are much easier to achieve and reflect on over time.

My Learning Experiences:

This is a big section that covers both your academics and your extracurriculars. You can include your classes, clubs, volunteering, vacations, and really any other experience that you feel you learned from. You'll also want to describe each of these experiences and reflect on them. You can use this short article describing 'learning logs' for 4 short questions to get you started on your reflections, you can refer to the Personal Learning section in the sidebar for prompts, or you can check out this comprehensive guide to reflective learning.

TCU Learning Goals:

This section is something students should save for their last few years at TCU, when they can accurately reflect on how their TCU experience has impacted and shaped them. Don't worry about leaving it blank for now- but when you are ready to tackle this section, know that you are recording how your time at TCU has allowed you to grow as a person, and congratulate yourself on how far you've come! While you don't have to answer each prompt, it does help to read over the questions already listed for you in each sub-page and consider how TCU's mission statement, 'To educate individuals to think and act as ethical leaders and responsible citizens in the global community', applies to you from your time at TCU. You'll want to draw on your in-class learning, your extracurricular involvement, interaction within the community, and/or any other specific experiences that showcase how you have lived or acted according to the mission statement.

Resume:

The Resume section is fairly straightforward; you can copy and paste your resume into a rich text module, or you can upload it as an image to keep the original formatting. If you don't have a resume, or want help improving yours, check out this article for a guide to resume writing as a college student. However, don't forget that your FrogFolio is tailored to you! You can have a single resume, or upload multiple ones for your work history, school involvement, theatre experience, etc.

Attributions:

This page is for citing any sources you used in your FrogFolio (pictures, quotes, etc.). You should generally include where you found the source, and link to that source when appropriate.
