 Jessica Menkin Kontelis, MFA & PhD Candidate

 

 

As Graduate Assistant to ePortfolio, Jessica assists the University’s ePortfolio initiative, FrogFolio, by managing the ePortfolio Lab, developing undergraduate and faculty support materials, and marketing ePortfolio to the TCU community. In her role, she supports several facets of the ePortfolio initiative alongside ePortfolio director, Dr. Daniel Terry.

 

 

Jessica is a PhD candidate in the Rhetoric & Composition, English program at TCU. Her research focuses on developing interdisciplinary approaches to prompting creativity and teaching writing through a joint creative writing and rhetoric-composition perspective. She has taught a range of writing classes at TCU, including the first and second year writing requirements and Introduction to Creative Writing. She is an MFA graduate from Mills College in Oakland, California, where she specialized in Fiction and ran the Mills College Writing Center for a year.
