Rich Text



Wherever there is text, aside from captions below pictures in the gallery module, the rich text module is being used. This module is cool, because it allows you to do more than just write text. In this module, you can also insert tables, pictures, hyperlinks, and PDF files of documents. Controls and features are similar to Microsoft Word.

The Rich Text Module Toolbar has a lot to offer, so spend some time checking it out. For now though, here are some of the highlights:

1. Use this button to insert documents from your computer, such as a resume.

2. This button allows you to insert pictures from your computer or from the Internet (remember to give credit to sources when you use media from the web!)

3. This button lets you create a table on your page, for organizing information such as a schedule, or dates for events.

4. This section of the toolbar, outlined in red, changes all the text settings. From left to right, you can change font color, highlight text, change the font family, change font size, bold text, italicize text, underline text, and strike through text.

5. The link button allows you to insert a hyperlink into your text, and the broken link button will remove hyperlinks you no longer want.

6. The ABC button, perhaps the most important button in the entire toolbar, activates the spell check. Clicking this button will check all of your text for typos, no matter how much you've written. However, it doesn't catch grammatical errors, so read through your text before you publish it!
