Rosemary Newsome

Welcome to my ePortfolio! I am a member of the Texas Christian University Class of 2018. I am pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration for Finance in the Neeley School of Business. I am also pursuing a minor in Political Science through the AddRan college of Liberal Arts and am undertaking University Honors through as an Honors student in the John V. Roach Honors College. In summer 2015, I had the opportunity to engage in experiential learning during an Honors Study Abroad in Germany, Italy, and Switzerland, where I gained cultural awareness and grew as an individual. I studied French for 5.5 years and plan on furthering this learning through a study abroad program in France and/or teaching English in a Francophone country one day. Tentative post-graduation plans include applying for a scholarship, such as Fulbright or Gates, or for the Peace Corps. Graduate or Law School are probably in the future as well. Eventually I would like to work for a non-profit or benefit corporation. In my free time, I enjoy reading novels, attempting to discuss religion and politics, hanging out with friends, and being outside, whether that's playing soccer, tennis, hammocking, or running.
