Stephanie Neilson 

      Hello! My name is Stephanie Neilson and I am a freshman at Texas Chrsitian University, originally from Southern California. I came to TCU with the intent of being a Biology major on the Pre-Med track, but have recently switched to a Nursing major with a Spanish for Health Professions minor. My desire to persue this major derives from my passion of helping others. Being a nurse would not only provide with me the opportunity to help others medically, but to also have a personal interaction with the patients and help them emotionally. I am a bilingual student who is fluent in both English and Spanish, and therefore intend to use my Spanish minor in my Nursing profession to help patients who can only communicate in spanish 

I look forward to becoming as involved as possible here at TCU through sports, leadership organizations, and volunteer opportunities. We all come to college in hopes of graduating with a degree, but my hope is to graduate not only with a degree but also with new frienships, life-learned lessons, and a sense of growth and experience. None of us know where life is taking us, but success comes from putting our best foot forward each day and living out the plan that He has set out for us.
